Tabletop game boards, cards, pawns and miscellaneous pieces are full of amazing designs and colors. For this objective we will be using the board game of our choice to inspire an original piece of art.
Objective:
Create a painting inspired by the tabletop game of your choice.
Details:
1) Gather your supplies. You'll need a tabletop game, or a photo of a tabletop game. You'll also need paint, paintbrushes, and a canvas (or something else) to paint on.
2) Using a board game as inspiration, create an original painting.
Note: We get it! Paint is a medium that is outside some of our comfort zones. That's why we chose to require it for this objective. Board game art that does not use paint does not satisfy this objective. So let's get messy!
3) Share your game inspired painting on Instagram or Twitter with the tag #QuestScouts and #TabletopGames. You can also share your experiences in our Facebook group.
Remember, if you post to a public Instagram or Twitter account your photo will show up on our Scout Board for other Quest Scouts to enjoy and comment on.
