Objective:
1) Gather your supplies.
You'll need:
A) A bandana. Any bandana will work, but a solid color will be best.
B) Fabric paint, puffy paint or permanent markers. (Warning: Markers may bleed.)
2) Choose a board game you'd like to replicate.
When deciding on a game, keep in mind that you'll be using rocks as pawns. You don't want anything too complicated. As many classic board games began by using rocks as pawns, you might want to go with one of those. We suggest checkers or mancala.
3) Create your game!
Copy your chosen game board onto your bandana. Don't worry about perfection here! It's a difficult medium to work with.
4) Head outdoors- And of course, make sure to bring your game board. You can even wear it if you'd like!
5) Once outside, whether that's a trail, a park, or your backyard, gather your rock pawns.
6) Play your game!
7) Take a photo to document your experience. Post it on Instagram or Twitter with the tags #QuestScouts and #BandanaGame.
Remember, if you post to a public Instagram or Twitter account your photo will show up on our Scout Board for other Quest Scouts to enjoy and comment on.
