Thanks for Reading 📖
November is Member Appreciation Month 2024! This month, we’re featuring THREE CHALLENGES created by your fellow scouts. This week’s challenge was inspired by Heather Hoyt. Heather challenges you to find read a story about thanks, then reflect on what you’re thankful for.
Details:
1) Find a short story about Thanksgiving and/or giving thanks to read. (Ideally, choose something that will take you about 20-30 minutes to complete.) Heather suggests "Old-Fashioned Thanksgiving" by Louisa May Alcott.
2) Read the story you chose.
3) After reading the story, take some time to think about what you are thankful for.
4) (Optional) Make a list of some of the things you’re thankful for. You may even want to share it with loved ones on Thanksgiving.
5) Leave a comment on our Facebook Page on the post “Thanks for Reading 📖.” (Posting on our Facebook Page is what reminds us to award you your well deserved star!)
